Hi I am a Materials Scientist with a passion for materials science and nanotechnology. My doctoral research explored innovative design methods for auxetic metamaterials, which fuelled my passion for advancing the field of novel materials. My research interests include auxetic materials, piezoelectricity, bio-inspired designs, and the environmental impact of industrial processes through Life Cycle Assessments.
In addition to my technical expertise, I am passionate about science communication and mentorship, having served as a lab demonstrator and private tutor. I thrive on fostering curiosity and academic growth in students while contributing to cutting-edge materials research.
In my free time I enjoy a good game of chess and have recently taken up bouldering!
