Helen’s biggest achievement was when she won 1 of 10 scholarships awarded at Northumbria University, to study for her Microbiology Masters. Science is a real passion of Helen’s and she was predicted (and told) she wouldn’t succeed – but her hard work and determination paid off and she was able to carry on her AMR research. Now, Helen gets to combine her passion for Science with her love of helping people to bring about real change.
Helen’s got quite a creative mind – outside of Science she loves taking photographs of landscapes, classic cars and her 3 adorable fur babies! She’s am also learning to play the Piano and is an archer.
