About Us

Tiro is a leading training provider for science and technology apprenticeships. We’ve been helping hungry apprentices to join ambitious businesses since 2005. At Tiro, we really believe that great apprenticeships help everyone. The Role

We need someone who is OBSESSED with writing captivating and impactful learning content. Poorly written online learning can be dry, boring, and stifle learning – we need someone who will ensure none of our apprentices feel that way! You’ll work as part of a project team to radically change the way Tiro approaches learning delivery, taking a digital-first approach to creating accessible, challenging content that stays with people for life. Using your expertise in writing, you’ll iteratively develop content that inspires learning and enables the transfer of learning back into the workplace, in turn helping to shape the science and tech workforce of tomorrow.

About You

We don’t expect you to have any experience in learning design. We’re looking for hungry people who can write really well. That’s about it. The rest will be taught by an eminent learning design expert who has helped create incredible online learning experiences. We’ll expect you to embrace your inner nerd and proactively seek out learning opportunities to hone your craft, taking feedback where you can to accelerate your learning. On top of this, you’ll need to LOVE collaborating with colleagues and get a kick out of working as a part of a project team, communicating effectively with others across functions and levels

  • Starting salary of £28,000
  • 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Hours of work – you can choose your own hours, providing you’re around when stakeholders need you and clock up 37.5 hours per week
